Hello, and thanks for visiting the Bigornia Research Lab.! Dr. Bigornia is an Assistant Professor at the University of New Hampshire. He received his graduate degree from Boston University School of Medicine and did postdoctoral training at Boston Medical Center and the Center for Population Health at UMass Lowell.
In the Bigornia Lab, we use epidemiological approaches to identify dietary risk factors of age- and life-style related health conditions. Further, we use our observational findings to develop programs to support healthy yet culturally appropriate ways of eating.
We are conducting a study to better understand the barriers and facilitators to fish consumption among the Hispanic/Latino communities of NH. If you are interested in participating, please go to the Participate tab to know more.
