    Ali Abu Awwad is a leading peace activist and a leader of several peace-building initiatives, including the Taghyeer (Change) Palestinian Nonviolence Movement and the Karama Center. His life and work have been featured in two award-winning films, Encounter Point and Forbidden Childhood.

    Universities are closing, the cost of higher education is out of reach for more and more families, many college graduates have staggering debt, and many are questioning the value of higher education. Therefore, we will investigate these questions as we convene stakeholders and community members to consider the question: Should higher education be more accessible?
