Access to Higher Ed Listening Event

Date:

Sunday, November 3, 2019, 7:00pm to 8:15pm

Location:

Dimond Library Room 352

Universities are closing, the cost of higher education is out of reach for more and more families, many college graduates have staggering debt, and many are questioning the value of higher education. Therefore, we will investigate these questions as we convene stakeholders and community members to consider the question: Should higher education be more accessible? We will begin with Concern Collecting Circles asking: What are your concerns about accessibility and higher education?

Please join us for an information gathering meeting to learn about the concerns of our community, students, and families. We welcome perspectives from those who feel both a part, or left out of access to higher education. No expertise needed.

This event is the first of a series that will unfold this year and culminate in the spring in a large public participation meeting on April 2, 2020.
