COLA TECHTalks began in the fall semester of 2018 by Liberal Arts Tech Support. The COLA TECHTalk series was developed as a way to bring faculty together to share ideas regarding the use of technology in the classroom. These monthly talks allow faculty from across disciplines to discover the many ways their peers have incorporated technology in their courses. The program goal is to facilitate collaborative learning and discovery in a friendly, comfortable setting. Presentations demonstrate the ways faculty can foster a deeper understanding of the course material by creating a media-rich learning environment for our students in the College of Liberal Arts.
Presentations are held in COLA's media lab spaces:
+ Art Design Lab, PCAC A204
+ Art Digital Photography Lab, PCAC A203
+ Communication Media Lab, Horton B10
+ English Digital Writing Lab, HS 336
+ English Journalism Lab, HS 140
+ English Technical Writing Lab, HS 340
+ Language Resource Lab, Murkland G15
