My research is in the field of Internet of Things (IoT), with a focus on smart wearable and sensing systems for pervasive healthcare and safety management. Exploiting cutting-edge technologies in embedded system, artificial intelligence (AI), edge and cloud computing, and human-computer interaction, the aim of my research is to develop pervasive health/safety monitoring systems based on smart wearable and sensing devices to help people achieve active prevention, early diagnosis, and effective treatment of diseases/injuries/safety hazards.
I am looking for highly motivated graduate and undergraduate students to work with me on the frontiers of wearable sensing systems, edge and cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), and human-computer interaction, as well as their applications in pervasive healthcare and safety management.
