Pilot Questionnaire Results

As part of the International Student Experience project, I created a pilot questionnaire about how international students found their experiences on campus. The results of the pilot questionnaire are compelling and truly reflect the UNH community experience. I focused on eight categories: 

cultural differences, religious differences, food differences,  sports differences, clothing

differences, roommate differences, college major differences, and entertainment differences. 

 

Overall, UNH students found their experience here positive:

When it came to cultural differences on campus, students felt UNH was respectful of their personal experiences:

The UNH students felt neutral about the support the UNH campus provided for their religious expression:

When asked about the entertainment available on campus, UNH internationals students felt like there was a large variety that represented cultures well:

Survey respondents found the food options in the seacoast area to be varied enough for their tastes:

International students enjoyed roommates who were of different cultures, so they could have varied cultural experiences while on campus:

Sports and atheltics have a relatively neutral impact on international students' experiences on campus:

And finally, when UNH international students were asked if they enjoyed their major, there was a positive response to their fields of study:
