Savannah Lacasse is a Junior andshe is double majoring in Psychology and Philosophy. She is also planning on furthering her education after graduation to get a Master’s degree in Psychology. This in turn will help her get closer to her goal of becoming a therapist while also aiding her overall goal of advocating the importance of mental health to stop the stigma surrounding it.Additionally, Savannah is currently in the beginning phases of working with Hannah on her research project and will be a Research Assistant in the spring of 2021 on Hannah Lightcap's research team.

Savannah has recently joined Hannah Lightcap's research project and this project centers on the idea that one's degree of personal intelligence correlates to one's achievement or fulfillment of their health goals. Savannah is excited to learn new skills such as coding, data analysis, conducting literature reviews, and much more while learning and overcoming any challenges she faces.

Savannah aspires to become a therapist with her own practice that provides affordable mental health care that is accessible for people of all income classes; because she believes everyone should have access to mental health care since it is equally as important as one's physical health. Savannah is also interested in learning about Hannah's research particularly health goal setting and personal intelligence because she believes that goal setting is an important part of self-improvement and therefore an integral part of therapy. Working with Hannah will help Savannah gain insight and knowledge about goals, and she will connect this new knowledge to her ongoing knowledge of therapy and mental health to enrich her academic and research experiences.
