Education and Outreach

Teaching Experience

- As a graduate student, I participated in the NSF GK-12 program and partnered with the Chesapeake Bay Governor's School in Glenns, Virginia. This partnernship entailed 280+ classroom hours in advanced science and environmental studies courses, developing lesson plans highlighting her research, and bringing educators in to the field to participate in real science. A few favorite lessons are highlighted below!
- I worked as a tutor and supplemental instructor for Chemistry I/II as an undergraduate at Chatham University, and also prepared labs for these and other chemistry department lab courses.

Mentoring

If you are a student looking for research opportunities, contact me or lab group PI Dr. Paula Mouser.

Outreach Opportunities

As a new resident of New Hampshire, I am looking for new educators, classrooms, and local organizations to work with! I have several lessons ready for a variety of classrooms sizes/ages, or we can develop something new based on your groups interests. Email Jenna.Luek at unh.edu to connect!
