The Math Club at the University of New Hampshire is a group of students interested in math who meet to practice intriguing math problems and discuss math topics.

Members have the opportunity to:

  • meet others with an interest in mathematical thinking and problem-solving
  • practice math in a low-pressure, encouraging environment
  • collaborate on interesting problems
  • learn about various mathematical fields and applications
  • discuss interesting math news and the history of math

Undergraduate members also have the option to participate in the Putnam Competition, an undergraduate mathematics competition, and we will practice problems from past years of the competition.

New members are always welcome, regardless of experience, skill, or major. This is a laid-back group mainly focused on the love of the subject
