The central theme of my research is to examine and optimize human-technology interaction to promote participation in the context of disability and aging. The research has focus across the life span, multiple settings and types of technology. My research projects pertain to integration of assistive and information communication technology for: 1) students with disabilities in school settings; 2) individuals with disabilities in work settings; and primarily 3) older adults in the community. A complimentary focus is also to examine and advance the provision of assistive and rehabilitation technology in various healthcare settings.
