I think that the Sustainability Dual Major complements my primary major of Communication for a variety of different reasons. Firstly, given my background in communicating with large groups of people from different disciplines, I was able to further practice what I have already learned in Communication during all of my Sustainability courses. Along with interdisciplinary work, in Communication I learned a lot about being a member of a team and working collaboratively. Given these skills, I was able to transfer my knowledge of collaborative work into my Capstone Group. I have hopes to advertise for a sustainable company in the future and use my collaborative skills in the workforce.
