Eleanor Hartmann

Hi, my name is Ellie Hartmann I am from Orleans, Massachusetts a small beach town on Cape Cod! I am a business administration major with a focus in entrepreneurial studies, and I am graduating this May. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, running, skiing, and going to the beach no matter the season. As well as spending time with my family, my dogs, and friends.

Growing up on Cape Cod I have experienced climate change first hand through dune erosion and sea levels rising changing many of the places I spent most of my childhood. Nature has always been a big part of my life and in high school, I had always wanted to do more to learn and find more ways to preserve the world around me. In my senior year, I took AP Environmental and we did a project on how tidal restoration can effect oyster growth and that truly lead me to be more interested in sustainability.

By choosing to accompany my Business Administration major with sustainability I hope to make a difference and take these experiences in the SDM wherever my career and life takes me.
