Hello, my name is Kelsea Batchelder and I am from Londonderry, NH. I am a senior at the University of New Hampshire, majoring in Business Administration (with an option in Marketing), dual majoring in Sustainability, and minoring in Classics. I will be graduating in May 2021. In my free time on campus, you can find me at my radio show at 91.3FM WUNH, Durham, doing service projects for Alpha Phi Omega, or just exploring with friends.
As a child, I took part in many nature-themed activities and had an affinity for the beauty of it all (especially all of the apple orchards in my hometown). In high school, I took AP Environmental Science, which really sparked my interest in preserving and protecting nature. Additionally, I enjoy making a positive impact on others and I am very interested the social aspect of sustainability.
Starting out as solely a Business Administration major, I knew I wanted more. A stroke of fate landed me in Global Environmental Change in my first semester of freshman year, where I learned that I could really put all of my passions to use. The SDM program has been an exceptional addition to my curriculum and I have already been able to experience amazing internship opportunities. I hope to take my many eye-opening SDM experiences with me into my future career.
