NR 435

The second elective that stood out to me was NR 435, Contemporary Conservation Issues, I took this class my second semester freshman year. This was the first class that really inspired me to look further into sustainability and think about pursuing the SDM. In this class, we discussed the impacts of technology and human activity on our environment and natural resources. As well as key conservation issues that are talked about more in-depth in SUST 401. This class allowed me to think deeper about the issues that are currently in front of us and what we can actually do to respond to climate change and the power we all have when it comes to consumption and the human-environment relationships.
