Hello there! My name is Sara Manzelli and I am from River Edge, New Jersey. I am currently in my senior year at the University of New Hampshire. My primary major is Zoology and I have a dual major in Sustainability, I am minoring in Wildlife and Conservation Biology and am working on an additional minor in Animal Behavior. I am a member of the University Honors Program and will be completing my studies in May 2021. Throughout my time on campus, I have been a Resident Assistant in Christensen and Engelhardt Halls and am now the Assistant Hall Director of Stoke Hall. I have served as the President of the UNH Zoological Society and the Public Relations co-chair and Recording Secretary of Alpha Phi Omega, a co-ed community service fraternity. In my time at UNH, I have also had the privilege of working closely with the Athletics Marketing Department.

Growing up I was fascinated with animals and nature and am thrilled to be pursuing what I love in academia. Something that drew me to the sustainability curriculum was the social equity aspect. Tacking on the SDM to my course load was among the best decisions I have made, studying sustainability at a STARS Platinum rated institution has been unique and at times challenging, but ultimately rewarding!
