Hello! My name is Sarah Kfoury and I am a senior here at UNH majoring in Mathematics with a dual major in Sustainability. I will be graduating in May 2021. I'm from Winthrop, MA, a small town just outside of Boston. I love walking around college woods, hanging out with friends and family, and going to the beach.
I have always loved the environment, math, and animals. Upon coming to UNH, I had a hard time trying to figure out what major would be the best fit with these interests. I finally declared math as my primary major, and then my sister, who is a year younger than me, told me about the sustainability dual major. I thought this was a perfect way to have the best of both worlds in terms of my college degree. While I don't know where my math degree is going to take me, I know that sustainability can no longer be ignored in any industry and my experience in my undergrad will be useful anywhere I go.
