Harriet Fertik
Professor Fertik arrived at the University of New Hampshire in 2014 after completing her doctoral work at the University of Michigan. In 2017–18 she held the very prestigious Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and just recently she published an important book on the role of the Roman emperor and his relationship to the body politic: The Ruler’s House: Contesting Power and Privacy in Julio-Claudian Rome (Baltimore:  Johns Hopkins University Press 2019).
