The Varga lab focuses on the biophysical characterization of protein structure and function. We use NMR and other spectroscopic techniques to investigate protein structure, protein-protein, and protein-ligand interactions. Ongoing projects focus on antifreeze proteins, the polar organizing protein Z, and a regulator of G protein signaling. Another major research interest is the design and characterization of chiral quantum dots. Read more about our research here.
